Whether you choose a full browband or a single-ear design, your piece will be tailored to your horse, your taste, and your everyday riding needs.

What’s Included

Your custom headstall includes your choice of leather color (Tan, Dark Brown, Wine Tone, Black, or Blue), your tooling design, and your stitching color. Each piece is made by hand, deeply conditioned for flexibility and strength, and fitted with high-quality hardware. Before crafting starts, you’ll receive a hand-drawn digital mock-up of your design for approval.

After placing your order, email your order number and custom details to jillbeanleather@gmail.com, including:
• Headstall style — Full Browband or Single Ear
• Leather color
• Tooling design or theme
• Stitching color (black or white)
• Any initials, brands, or decorative elements you’d like included

How Your Piece Is Made

Headstalls must be sturdy, reliable, and comfortable for your horse, so every piece is crafted with equal parts artistry and durability. I hand-cut the leather, tool the design slowly and intentionally, dye the piece by hand, and condition it deeply to ensure a soft, flexible feel. Once assembled, the headstall becomes a balanced mix of western tradition and personal creativity — a working piece of leather art made to last for years in the arena, out on the trail, or just looking sharp at home.
